Easter Bunny Found Me

Well all I can say is that I am never going to spend the Easter long wkend along in a town where I don’t know anyone...

The weather was shit, the Wind gave me the shits and Saturday nite was the first night I slept in Vinny and to my surprise Mr Easter Bunny came to me and left some Chocolate and women’s health mag... whoooo oh so exciting...

Rewind,

Friday was crappy weather, so I thought I would go to the movies and I went and saw FAST and FURIOUS 5.... GREAT MOVIE don’t listen to critics as it is good action packed and one of the better ones

Saturday morning I got up and headed off to the Salamanca Markets, they are the most talked about markets that I have heard, but it was either my lack of sleep but they were the most over rated markets, I think Banglow/bryon markets are way better, least u get to see weird looking people with piercings in places that should not be... if you’re getting my drifts, After walking around and around the markets to say I have walked the whole markets it was a time for afternoon nap... and ready for Mr. Easter bunny..

On Sunday i woke up to find my treats, lol so I had hotcross buns and chocolate and a Tea for breaky before I headed up to MT Wellington, which i did not really remember driving up the big hill when i was 16... and my gosh Asians hog the road and wasn’t I yelling abuse ... as I  was getting higher n higher the temp went from 12 -9 - 2 degrees up on top, very chilly and icy wind, i had second thoughts of doing a hike....

Then I was to chillax nite as dawn service tomz

Woweee what a Week

Well i have made it through my first week of work and hobart, and yes it has't been without its ups and down,

I have had to sleep in the car for 2 nites as well... because of the bloody wind and wanting to take vinny away... I have found a newer caravan park which is closer to work....

Least I know where my work is now, where to park for free and having a very Quite wkend,

Now those who like to go shooting, well u can stay at the caravan park and should be able to have  shot gun on arrival to shoot the rabbits, there everywhere around the park, both during the day and more so at nite... Be fun i reckon....

Tomorrow I am off to the markets if the weather clears up and off to dinner with some of the girls from work, which should be nice to meet some locals etc.... then rest of the wkend is chillaxing....

happy eaaster everyone.

p.s  I think the easter will visit me tooo

First Day MESS!!!!

So its Monday Morning, The nerves have set in as I am to start work today, new office new faces, all those feelings are come back to make u feel inscure..... Like i said everyone goes through these feelings at some point.

Well after i got set up on sat i went and found my office and was right i know where it is awesome things may go smooth for once...

Welll NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it did not happen that way.... I rocked up to the wrong bloody office.. omg my nerveness took over and i felt like a fool and wanted to run and Hide, they rang through to the correct office and said i was on my way...

Well i got in my car and feeling like the loser of losers and driving into the city... now in all cities u have to pay for parking.... OMG the days gets worse...
Once i found where my office and met my manager, I went to find a parking that was reasonable $8bucks a day but it was full so I had to go back to the other car park that I started at, on the verge of tears the car park man gave me a earlybird ticket and said he will help when i finish for the day.... omg stress out plus,

Then I went back to work and to try and start my day.... woweeeee what a day

MONA......

So on Sunday I was off and though I would check out this museum that everyone has been talking about....
Well wasn't a eye opener.. Words to decribe this art (if u could some of it art work) is very hard and I feel its a must see.

What ever the reaction the guy is aiming has acheived something... Now I must say that if you husband and ptr's winge that they never see enough vagina.. well I think going to this museum they will be more than they have ever wished for and will never complain about seen VAGINAS... 7 walls  of VAGINAS of all shapes n size is enough for anyone...

And a few other disturbing things over took my views of the nicer or pleasent art work.. So maybe I will have to go again and see things again, but will be sterring clear of the VAGINAS.....

The location is amazing on a hill of the derwent river with a winery, nice way to spend sunday before heading start work on Monday

Strahan to Hobart

OMG wat a chilly nite and morning in cradle Mt, Woke up and I just did not want to get out as it was freezzing but time not to waste, I was up and add it,

I am getting faster n faster pulling down vinny, (only because i did not unpack my car lol) but I was done and off on my walk at 9.35... Yeah I decided that I was in no hurry so i'd just do another short walk in cradle valley, 8km.... then have another look at dove lake as the their was not a cloud in the Sky... and OMG amazing or should I say the guy I saw there... HOTTIE....
No I did not go and talk to him I needed to catch  my breathe...  and my bus was there so I had to Quickly jump on to start my leg to Strahan...

Now the way u prounce this town is -(STRAW-ORN) well thats how i have been saying it....

Ok just going back a few day just before I  was to get off the boat and eldery man told 'the west coast drive to Hobart is a rough drive' me going yeah oh really (but not really taking the conversation in) Should have bloody listened..
So I left cradle mt which was a bit windy, ok well the easiest way to explain is - Grab a peice of paper and draw a squiggly line from left and doesnt matter how it goes just does not over lap, (needs to be very squggily) or time MT Buller and Dorrigo Mt times by 10 thats the trip from Cradle to Hobart, and I am bloody gald I drove or I'd be spewing my hole up all the way, sooo windy and leaving Queenstown, undescirbale

Tasmaina is one amazing state, I went from amazing ocean side to ruggered forest and mt tops to a beautiful seaside town- through a minning mountain to lush green rain forest to farming land all in a matter if 4hours.. I guess you can do that in NSW as well but nothing can compare to the tasmainan widlerness...

When I got to strahan check into the caravan park and my neighbours were the ame neighbours from cradle.. funny... well i headed into town (walked-think i'd done enough walking for the day) and asked a shop keepers where the town centre was.... (one way to offend the locals) as I missed all the crusies and train trip
I went a play which is run my the town folk about the history of Strahan and Sarah Island.. I got involed I was the parrot on the ship... ahah one way to look like a fool.. but it was fun and different and good to hear our history.. I was planning on gonig back to strahaban until I drove to hobart today..

I will place pictures up. Now for those who have not been to tassie and love to joke about its only take an 1hr from one side to the other... WRONG....  today took me 5hrs from strahan to hobart i did an average of 60kms per hour and each time I was winding up a hill I new I had to winding down it...

But I made it and stopped along the way saw more amazing hidden places.. Tasmaina is one big national park..

Well I have made it and VINNY  and I are just about set up and ready to spend amazing 5.5wks together, My new neighbours are from Port.. so good and they will be here for easter...
I think I am gonig to love Tassie... and I have already fallen in love..

Beauty!!!

Well what are 36hrs I have had... through
After I have got through my RASH n REACTION to my ffavourite VODKA... and 'The Spirit of Tasmania Choir' - made of lovely vocals of MAN SNORING.

I was on the road to the Worst McDonalds in Tasmaina, (well the only one I went too) Devonport, waited 10min in line just to get served, and who has a store with no power points... plzzzzz

After I got Over that went to the information centre and Got some direction in where and which way I should go, Now half of tassie is flooding atm, as I thought I would go down the east coast but thats where its flooding,

Off I went along the coast road from Devonport to ulverstone - penguin - burnie - then cradle.
Along the way I wanted to have a sleep in the sun in Burnie but u had to pay for parking and for the LIFE  of me i could not get the bloody thing to work, So i cracked it and Headed towards cradle

I had a stop on the side of the road and Had a lil kip, recharged the batteries, I was getting tired.. but after my kip i was right as rain...

Stop up at Black Bluff and had a strange encounter. A guy riding a push bike from cradle to the nex to town.. (hello next town is like 60km's) and he asked if I had any water I could spear, Which I didn't but I had juice, So i gave him half of my juice for his camel drink pack... who seriously goes on a massive bike ride like that and is not prepared with water n fluids... Hope it made with the power of V8  juice.

Bit further along I had made it to cradle mountain, I am staying at Discovery Caravan park, unpowered site,
Do not leave ur shoes out or the TASSIE DEVIL'S eat them, and no food or possums will come..  Lets hope no Spiders...

Got set up and Decided to head to cradle for a bush walk.. just a nice after noon stroll of 6km around DOVE LAKE.... can take up to 2hrs... and daylight was running out... I think I made up for the last 2 days of missing out of the gym.

Lesson of the day: Do not wear ur PJ'S (Lepoard Loves) to the camp kitchen.. ppl stare and look at u weird... SERIOUSLY  have they not seen PJ'S before, well. they have not been me in my sexy leopard loves now have they....

Early nite tonite, I am bout to hit the sack with no heater, sock flannies (leopard loves) Spencer, doona,  Quilt and sleeping bag for up to -3degress, Should be warm yeah?

Well until tomz when I get to STRAHAN....

Farewell melbourne...Hello tassie

Well today was my last day at work, which was a nice way to end a great time, few of the gals made some food, which was great, then it was time to pack up all my stuff and head to port Melbourne to board the spirit of Tasmania...

So my nerves have been getting to me for a few days now, restless nites and hot flushes... well they made me take at least 5 wrong turns and even with tom tom to get to the boat, however I made it, Trish met me there to say farewell...

Then the nerves kicked in  again and with a block of chocolate under my belt i was start to relax,
Finally after an hour is getting the kids onto the boat, I found my seat and needed a nice gold vodka to claim  my nerves (interruption -- MAN SNORING HIS ASS OFF IN FRONT OF ME.....)
 y
back to oh yes vodka, so I spot a a sexy sexy hot  guy ( another interruption - hit the rocky seas now), and dam he was hot, tattoo beanie, nice smile, good teeth... any way I got my vodka and started to  enjoy  it until i finished drinking my chest got all itchy and hot, rede then all of a sudden I can feel my face on fire... I went to the bathroom and my face was on fire (massive sun burnt) hot  hot i washed my face put cream on it and nooooo it was getting worse, So I had to go to the nurse and get some drugs... phneugon... sleep time here I come, well my face seems to be cooling down,

But the hot boy time has past.... some one please tell me where my MOJO has gone, I want it back.... NOW!!!!

So my plan was to go down the east coast to Hobart but due to flooding mmmm trip has been postponed and new direction will need to be sorted when I get into Davenport, maybe my my MOJO is there.....

Loosing my AFL virginity........

Well wasn't last nite a amazing nite to remember... started off a bit rocky and running bit late but once we got settled and start its was a great....

Nooo I am not talking bout other stuff, maybe u should get ur mind out of the gutter, I am talking about my first game of AFL, 2010 premiers collingwood vs Carlton...

Now woweeee what a game, wat a ground, what a atmosphere... words can only describe the feeling just a fraction..

This is a stadium that can hold 95000 seating and 5000 standing, So you can only imagine the feeling of the crowd, last nite was a total of 88000 people in one place to experience and watch one game, a game that is supported by 1000's of aussie, whom i have never come across such passionate people about their team. I even reckon u could get a job depending on who you support..

So you can imagine how I was feeling someone who has never seen a game of afl besides a little bit on tv here and there, I was blown away and so excited to break my afl virginity and see one of the biggest matches for the season,

Took a little time to get there as we got a little lost, but once we found a pub, Jess, dale and myself were able to relax before it was time to head off.... As we headed back to the mcg after a few quite ones to get us started, we got to walk with the crowd which is a mixture of Carlton n pies supporters, awesome, then we got there and walk into the stadium and OMG it was amazing, our seats were up where the nose bleeders are, but i loved it, we saw the whole game the crowd oh woweee,
mind u I did get a bit bored as I don't know the rules and my gosh the game goes forever...... Final Qtr we went down stairs to stand and found ourselves  full of pies supporters , drunk and yelling abuse the Carlton, ahah man it was great....

The support and the fan base is amazing, compared to league, I think afl are doing it right and league needs to take a leaf out of their book.

Well we didn't make it to the sport museum yest, so Dale and I went today... and OMG another amazing day, to learn about the history of our sporting heroes, and the development of a great nation of talent. Dale and I lost track of time and spent 2.5hours there, I must admit my fave part was the game interaction, were we got to race on bikes, shoot arrows for archery, run the batter out, kick a goal, hand ball the ball, shoot the hoop for netball, Soooo much fun, I think this was our fave part,
We even saw Warnie in real life..... narh not really but its seemed like that, and he told us about his experience at the mcg, getting his hatric, and captaining a one dayer, then we saw some other lad from Essendon which was another great story about his time at the MCG....

Those who have not been their should put that on their to do list, just to have the experience and gain that feeling of being part of the ground. And i pay respect to those athletes whom have got the opportunity to play at the MCG with a sell out crowd, It would be a greater high than taking any drugs, the adrenaline running through ur body...... got goose bumps talking about...

So no I did not get laid, but I did see my first AFL game...

Old Melbourne Goal

My time in melbourne is coming to a near end, and why not see our history of one of AUSTRALIA's OUTLAW,

Trishy and her housemate clare and my self went on a nite tour of old melborune goal. Not that we saw any ghost, but the goal had a  that aurora feel about it and capturing of being a prisoner back in the 1800's

Our history of australia is amazing and sometimes i think we all forget where we came from.  This is just one of many histroy tours to take us back to the time when australia was still building a foundation.

4 women were hung at melbourne goal and amongest many men, such as Ned Kelly,  I think it is important to understand our history, enjoy our present and set ourseleves for the future...

Time has flown for me in melbourne but i have to say that I have not missed out I have experinced as much as I can fit into my time here with working as well........ wait stop hang on a mintue

ONE more weekend here, which is filled with the FOOTY- AFL.....

then I will setting sail on the 3 chapter of  my 2011 TASSIE.........

Sunday of phillip Island

Well i have tried typing this part of my Sunday a few times now and its keeps timming out..So fingers crossed this time it will work..

Weekend at Phillip Island

Well what can I say..... well before I start my week journy..

I just want to commend the Tourism Victoria and Phillip Island, as they are one state that has got the tourism right on the island and I went in the off season..

Well trishy and I were off down the freeway to phillip island, we stayed and All Season Eco resort, Which was pretty cool. Everyone had their own little cabins/hut self contained, and they were cute, you could easily live in them if it was for one or 2 max.

Once we got their we did not feel like doing much as we been driving, so we got some din din, choices on Phillip island is Pizza, pizza or fish n chips or pizza... So we had some pizza and our waitress was what could I say to put it nicely... rough like....
Then we went to the bottle had a bet with the cashier that it was not going to rain tomz or all wkend..... we had pasion pop on the table... we walked outside n got back to bushpig ave (bushpea ave, but sounds like bush pig when the guy told us our st... lol) n it started pissing down... and I am pissing down.. trish ran to the verandrer to open the door.. n I trip up the step.. (i acutally missed the step all together) but made it inside..
So dried off n showered to start our nite of bubbles of pop n facials...

Saturday morning came... it was not raining.. old mate owes me a bottle of pop!! We had breaky cooked my faveorite... up thats right poached eggs.. Then we were off

We started the day with the MAZE... now pretty sure we were the 2 biggest kids there.. its was so much fun so tricks and walking through glass mazes and the great drop.. now that was a scary moment.. I had to hang in the air with my clamy hands and dangle then drop... Wowee it wats a bit fun.... then I needed to get out for some fresh air because all of those mazes n adventures was making be dizzy...

So off we went to the grand prix track... Fair bit hotties out there, few farmers (some looked like they were going on the next farmer wants a wife) so we walked around the track, played on the slot cars n I flogged trish... There was open day for general riders and you can hear the motorbikes from far far away..

Then the day is not over yet.............

We went to Cowes Jetty to step on board the boat to take us out to seal rocks... the weather was over cast, chilly with a cool wind and the seas where getting choppy, we had to get onto Bass Strait... it was not too bad but sitting outside made it a whole lot better i think, we finally made it to seal rocks. and my gosh I have never smelt something so stinky (well I can think of one other place) but woweee the seal a one smelly animals but it was cool to see them chilling... Then it was time to head back to land, and the sun had come out, and Trishy n myself had a nice afternoon nap on the boat I had a cuppa tea n then it was shut I time... sooo good as our day was not nearly over yet..

Got back to the island to have the markets on, Was not sure what to expect and aha yes it was a little markets.. more food stalls than any other stalls but we did get some honey, n tasted a few things before we head out to Nobbies...

At nobbies is a function centre overlooking Seal rocks and the ocean, They have a board walk out to the blow hole, but due to the tide being low, we did not get to see it in action, But I did help soem asian take PHOTO.. then I climbed under board walk still on it just sticking my head under to seeee some of the cutest things ever... PENGUINS....

Once we got back up to the centre we got a tickets for the Penguin parade.
Now this is something everyone should some and see and yes this is where Victoria has done it right.
I calculated that the nite we were their, there would have been about 2000 people and lets think about this ok... so ticket for general admission is $21.80 p.p got the figures in ur head.... now they are already on a good wicket, but hand on kids n adults need to each and each meal is $14.95 so lets say 1500 ppl ate... $$$$$$$ oh hang on don't forget the gift store $$$$$$ now this is just on a Off Season night, can you imgaine the coin they roll in during peak season...
Minus all the wages n expense, way way out in front!! again Well done victoria tourism.

ok back to fun side... the penguin parade was the coolest thing ever seeing the lil guys come out of the  ocean and onto the land.. Penguins have the great life.. why u say, well they swim n surf all day out in the ocean then come in at the end of the day to sleep in warmth with the families... then its happens all over again.. but as they were coming on the beach shake their bellies and off the waddled and their is always a lil one that drags the chain...

What a great day finally it was the end of the day and it was time to go home to our eco hood.. as soon as I laid down my lights were out......

Doesn't time fly....

It is already thursday.....? Yup it is 2nd last thursday in Melbourne and what a way to spend the night.
It was time to catch up with kel n tyso.. its been a while (well since xmas ) since I have seen them,

We were meeting at Little Creature Bar on brunswick st. What a cool funky place to eat. Melbourne can not be faulted at its wine n dinning.. everywhere I have been it is great.

So I made it too dinner and to see Kel, so great to chit chatt.... and good to see friendly familar faces, then tyso finally made it and we had more chit chatts n great food...

time flys by when u are having fun... and then its time to take the nex chapter of my journey...

I bidded farewell to kel n tyso until we meet again ....
